Minors younger than six years old may not work more than six hours per day, work more than six consecutive days per week, work more than 36 hours per week, be employed or present on the set or location before 7 a.m. for studio productions and 6 a.m. for location productions, and must be off set by 7 p.m.
Minors ages six to 15 years may not work more than eight hours on any day when school is in session, work more than six consecutive days per week, work more than 48 hours per week, be employed or present on the set or location before 7 a.m. for studio productions and 6 a.m. for location productions, and must be off set by 8 p.m. on any day prior to a school day, or 10 p.m. any day prior to a day when school is not in session. School days are defined by the school the minor attends.
Minors who are 16 years old and have not graduated from high school may not be employed or present on the set or location before 7 a.m. for studio productions and 6 a.m. for location productions. They must be off set by 10 p.m. on days prior to a school day or 11 p.m. any day prior to a day when school is not in session. School days are defined by the school the minor attends.
Minors who are 17 years old and have not graduated from high school may not be employed or present on the set or location before 7 a.m. for studio productions and 6 a.m. for location productions. They must be off set by 10 p.m. on days prior to a school day or midnight any day prior to a day when school is not in session. School days are defined by the school the minor attends.
All minors must receive an uninterrupted 30-minute break, as well as a 12-hour break at the end of each work day.
